

Police have arrested three individuals in Tbilisi on charges of group violence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the statement, officers of the Old Tbilisi Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department arrested three individuals on charges of group physical violence: D.O. (born in 1987), D.M. (born in 1998), and K.M. (born in 1992), who has a prior conviction and is currently serving a suspended sentence.
The investigation established that, following a verbal confrontation, the accused individuals, acting as a group, inflicted physical injuries on two persons, A.B. and D.F. After committing the violence, the suspects fled the scene.
As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, all three individuals involved in the crime were arrested shortly after the incident.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 117, Part 1, and Article 126, Part 1, Subparagraph “b” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which предусматривает punishment of up to seven years of imprisonment, the statement said.
